Battery Percent here

First I want to say big THANKS to kubino who did all the hard work by adding the code for the battery percentage over to the Desire's rom. All I did is port his work to MCR Desire for N1. Ok guys, finally we can finally enjoy some of the extras that you might have seen in cyanogen's rom. Before anyone goes and pushes the file so you know this mod is for r22.. Added the mod for alpha r21. I have tested this with r22 and no issues at all. This file only adds percentage to your battery and nothing else. You cannot turn it off or on, ones you pushed the files it will be there until you replace the files with the stock one. Ok so here is what you do:

Download and extract services.zip

adb remount

adb push services.jar /system/framework/

adb reboot

NOTE: after the reboot it will take some time to load to rebuild the cache and your screen will be at the boot animation don't be inpatient and please give it 10-15 mins if gets that far. For me on clean rom out of the box took 3-4 mins but when I did it on the r21 where I had all my apps it took 7-8 mins.

Also don't try to use this mod on any other roms please because it will not work. This only will work on MCR Desire for N1 and it will not on stock Desire rom or MCR Desire.

Here is a screenshot.

Hey there, quick question, although slightly unrelated. Might be a tad silly, but since you've obviously pushed some ported files onto your device, is that 3G icon in your status bar a mod as well, or are were you simply not connected to HSDPA at the time of the pic? Thanks.

that's just modified stock 3g icon. t-mobile hasn't gone HSDPA here in chicago so only 3g no H even thou it comes up sporadically.

Does it work with Enom Rom?

I had percentage inside the battery icon but it vanished when I changed the main fonts

you definitely don't want to push it to Enom's rom. You will get a boot loop. If I am correct you might be able to pull the services.jar from cyanogen's rom and use that, but I am not sure. give it a try.

If possible can you post one for r21 as I'm skipping r22 and waiting for a new build based off the final kernel I think Im going to stick with r21 until then :)

I found that if you install spare parts from cyan's rom 506 you can shut off the battery percent mod. Not sure why you would want to but there you go.

Ps. once you shut it off it takes a minute or so to take effect, until the battery stat changes.enjoy

Thank You very much :) I am now able to see the percentage number on my battery icon. Btw it took me about 5min for it to reboot, so the process appears to be quick.

It's possibile to move the position where the number it's visualized?

Thanks

I'm not sure I understand what you are requesting. Move the percentage where? It is position right in the middle for stock the stock battery.

I have changed the icon of battery and It's non centered to my icon.

I want to move it to right about one space.

Do you think It's possibile.

I know service.jar, you have to tell me where I have to try to made it.

Thanks
