Hi,

Is There any process to add Farsi support (read and keyboard) here? If Yes, Then when does it fetch up?
Or anyway that I may add this myself?

Regards...

Of course u got brainwahsed otherwise you'd be concerned about why Google don't care about our ancient language, Persian, that's the language of millions of people
But also I was not going to insult anybody. There is a technical forum not a political one :D

Regards...

of course guys, I was kidding (if only calling you a "farsian"). I've tried searching for "android farsi" on google and there doesn't seem to be many result atm. Sorry for the stupid question, are is "persian" and "farsi" the same thing ? because there seem to be a few apps enabling a persian soft keyboard on androlib.

you may want to check out :

ps: I suppose it's best to ask google this type of question...

Thanks dear Sashimi . Yeah both Persian and Farsi are same language.
But about your links (Persian soft keyboard); You know the problem isn't just keyboard; We also need to read texts as SMS and in Web browser etc :)

You Can Add Any Language to WM5 or 6 Hadset with this way:

- Go to your pc's \windows\fonts directory and choose a font you like the look of that supports persian (I chose tahoma.ttf).

- Copy it to the mobile's Windows\Fonts directory.

-Remove lock from your handset registry by running  SDA_ApplicationUnlock.exe from your PC

- Download the WM registry editor from here : TotalCommander

- Copy it to the mobile, install it, run it.

- Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
Edit - Add new key - add FontLink

- Select FontLink
Edit - Add new key - SystemLink

- Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\FontLink\SystemLink
Edit - Add string value :
Name: Persian
Value: \Windows\Fonts\tahoma.ttf,Tahoma

- Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
Edit - add new key FontPath

- Select FontPath, add new string
Name: FontPath
Value: \Windows\Fonts

- reset your mobile

-GOOD LUCK
