Hallo, everybody!

Have I missed it somehow somewhere, or till now there were no custom ROM for Desire with the option "Wake up via Trackball"?
To press the central button (trackball's one) to wake up the device is much more comfortable, than to reach to the power button, changing the grip and so running risks of letting device fall.. Apple knows that.. :(

Does that mod exist or is it possible?

There you go, a bit of DIY for you :(

EDIT: Actually, it seems the trackball cannot be mapped as of yet, but the other hard buttons can. I'll be doing this mod for sure when my Desire is back from repair.

Thanks a lot! That exactly the thing I was looking for!
Of course, better to use for this action the trackball button - it's almost impossible to press it accidentally..

But still - once again - thanx! :(

I have checked the above site.I am unable to find the modification. Seems to be a full image. Moreover, I am interested to install this on my froyo on nexus one. Anyone did this?
