Hi,

My first post...

I am on AT&T in the USA.

I have a HTC Desire A8183  with 1.15.405.4, 32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2 from Telstra (AU).

Everything works GREAT on AT&T EXCEPT SMS. I can receive, but I can't send.

AT&T and HTC support didn't help. Nice people, but no help.

Can anyone help?

Perhaps you may want to Root the phone using Paul's MCR (or My Mod, since you're using an 8183), this may fix it. Are you on holiday in the US or something?

Thank you, I don't think I will try that after reading your post on your ROM. I am not using my phone on Telstra.

No, I live in Hawaii, but couldn't wait for a US carrier to come out with the Desire. I don't drink or cheat on my wife, anymore. I am just addicted to the newest and best phone.
