Samsung Galaxy S is due for a 15th of July release on Vodafone.

Not a week seems to go by without another top end Android phone being released, this week it's the turn of Samsung.


This phone has been talked about for some time now, but it is finally going to see the light of day officially.
Packing features such as:

• 4" Super AMOLED WVGA screen

• 5 Mp Camera

• 1Ghz Snapdragon Cpu / 512 ram

• 16gb onboard memory expandable with sd card.

• Android 2.1 'Eclair'

The main talking point is the 'Super AMOLED screen, supposed to be a step up from the Nexus/Desire AMOLED screen- we should find out soon!

Supposed to be available FREE on contract via Vodafone!

It has an ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor, not snap.

Sorry, I did have a look around but could only find 1ghz....Assumed it was a snapdragon.

The Snap is a ARM Cortex A8

I think it is a TI OMAP3 1Ghz A8 Processor.
It is a 40nm SOC and has a powerfull PowerVR GFX Inside ^^
