Hi,

My HD2 charger is broken and I need a new one.  I bought a car charger for my Vario 3 a couple of years ago and it was the wrong one (despite CPW saying it worked) and caused something to leak inside and it wasn't covered under warranty.  I'm loathe to make the same mistake again, but don't want to spend £20 on a charger if I don't have to.  I know the manufacturers agreed to a universal charger and it was using a MicroUSB connection, like the HD2, but I don't know if the HD2 uses the same voltage (or whatever the term is!).

Could someone kindly give me some tips as to which charger I can safely buy.

The connection is MicroUSB.  So you can get any charger that has a MicroUSB connector on it.
I've used a variety of chargers (generic USB ones and MicroUSB specific ones) without any problems
