Does anyone know of an app that allows you to display mobile signal type/strength as a widget on the home screen? It's the only thing I look at/have use for on the task bar... I think you can slide your finger up/down to see the signal bar. :lol: Thanks - but for me the whole point of a widget is to display info on the screen without you having to do anything? Anything would be good to be honest :D Anything like the standard one would be fine - is it possible to show the type of signal too e.g 3G/GPRS etc (like the standard one does)??? The widget works, I am just refining the presentation (which is quite fiddly in Android, IMO). Here's a screenshot of what it looks like right now. This is just a *prototype*, to ensure that the widget is installing, working, updating, not using excessive battery, uninstalling correctly etc. The final version will also show GPRS/3G/roaming status and upload/download activity.
