Hi all, I am wanting to root my HTC Desire but need to know which bootloader and rom versions I have but have no idea where to find them on my device.

I've looked where it says About but bootloader and rom aren't listed.

Perhaps somebody would be kind enough to point me in the right direction?

Thank you in advance.

Alison

Ok, managed to find bootloader version but still don't know how to find the ROM version, any help would be extremely appreciated.

I'm a total newbie to android so want to be 100% sure of everything before I attempt any debranding or rooting.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Ooh, thank you, that simple.  It fooled me cos it said "software number" instead of rom version like my nokias say. lol.

Thanks for that, much appreciated.

Now to study how to make a goldcard in preparation for rooting.
