Hi

I use Modaco 3.1 which has been stable on my Desire for a long time.

Suddenly,, yesterday, Market stopped working (I am in UK).  I can see market apps, I can purchase apps  and I get notification of updates, but when I try to download, I get 'Starting Download@ after which nothing happens.  Is there a Market problem?  If not, how do I start to troubleshoot this issue?

Thanks.

you may of already tried this, but if not or if anyone else who reads this post who have had this problem and its works for them, then cool, personalty i cant see it been the problem, but have you tried to clear your market cache, from menu -> settings -> Application -> manage applications ->Market & market updater its not a solution and only suggestion.

I've tried all of these too.  I shall next try a reflash without wipe and then a reflash with wipe.

Relief!

Flash without wipe appears to have done the trick.

By any chance is your phone saying Memory Low?

I had this and my googlemail would not sync, market wouldn't authorise a download etc

I removed an app using high memory and then all was good
