Hello,

I had r2 installed on my Legend and was quite happy with it except for the bug that prevented me to install more apps (storage space exceeded message, see other thread).
After reading about it, I decided to use the r4 for installation (I started with the procedure at recovery mode with the r4 zip on the SD-Card), but then I ended up with the annoying startup sound again and can't install BusyBox and TitaniumBackup (see other threads for details) anymore.

Something must have gone wrong, I just don't know what?

Have you done full wipe, wipe cache and wipe SD partition?

helped myself before i could read your reply,
I reinstalled everything from scratch (including rooting) during a long night - now it works.
