I was wondering if anyone was having the same issue I am having. I tried flashing JG1 so I can install Paul's ROM. Everytime I flash it I first error in red. I dont remember what it says.

Once it boots I go to the settings menu and it is stuck in landscape. I have tried JG1 and JG5 with both 5012 and 5013 .pit files. I am using the one linked in Paul's custom ROM.

I'm not a n00b as Im coming from a Nexus One but for the life of me I cant figure it out. I have been working on it for 7 hours so any help would be appreciated. Either that or the stock AT&T firmware and I will deal with it like that. I have searched this forum and XDA to no avail.

Any luck yet?

I don't know the file name, but there's a rotation settings/stats file or something along those lines that you could try deleting (bakcup) through adb if you have access. On the Nexus One with RA-Recovery it's one of the wipe settings, along with battery stats. That might get you going.

The phone works otherwise, it's just Settings that are problematic, or are you saying you can't even get out of settings?

I looked but I couldn't find the location. Also when I try to boot into recovery I can't even apply a update.zip because when I hit the power button to select it doesn't work. I also get a multicsc error.
