Hi, does anyone else have the new Samsung Galaxy Apollo i5801 and tried rooting it yet?

It's available from Orange for £149 + £10 top-up.  I think you can get about £12 cashback from Quidco too.

Rooting instructions here http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=778880

But you do not need to root to put other Samsung firmwares on.  Go here for info:  http://www.samfirmwa...OTECT-i5800.htm  (need to register on the site, but worth it)

You can put a i5800 firmware on your i5801 and get rid of all the junk that Orange put on it and free up some more storage space.  I recommend the I5800XWJI4 firmware that was just released a few days ago, if you're in Europe.
