while we're all waiting for the o2 update I thought I'd have a play...

flashed the 7xxx build that M4TT24 nandroided for us last week, the one with the flashing leds.

turns out it flashes and works fine over the top of the 8xxx build (except a couple of FC, because I didn't clear the caches)

I presume then either

A) nandroid is messing up the boot.img

:huh: there's something in the update.pkg that we're missing (the baseband stuff I guess)
