Here's some R2-D2 stuff that was leaked from the Droid 2 R2-D2 edition.

U8100_starwars.zip

It's been tested on U8100 only but it only changes/adds the files listed below so it should work on any QVGA device:
/system/media/bootanimation.zip (scaled and cropped to fit QVGA)
/system/media/audio/ringtones/R2-D2.ogg (it's actually meant to go with the bootanimation but it works well as a ringtone)
/data/app/(4 different live wallpapers).apk

Have fun... And don't thank me, thank Motorola and whoever leaked it.

Sorry to ask the newb question - but how do we install this ?

You must have a recovery image installed. See this thread: http://android.modac...on-your-device/

I've only tried Amon RA.
