Hi all!
Trying to find out if there will be an Android upgrade on The LG intouch Max (GW620).
Some people say yes, some no.
It needs an upgrade from 1.5 soon, any info on if anything is in the pipeline ?

After contacting LG it is clear that they will not be giving an upgrade for this phone, even though it was 'promised' and it was for me the main reason to buy this phone.

There is an 2.1 + JIT rom on http://openetna.com/
It's not polished and some aspects (like bluetooth) don't work but it runs much more smoothly and there is no delay between pressing the keys on the keyboard and the appearing on the screen!
I definitely suggest giving it a try.
It's a shame that LG are so bad at support and maintenance of their products, as they generally are good with the hardware.
