Android ghosting?

Hi guys:)

One of my mates is asking about something akin to ghost imaging for android phones, his company is considering going to android phones but wants to easily deploy settings like local Access Points, MS exchange e-mail settings and such, is there a way to make an easy "auto setup" when a company needs to setup a lot of android phones to their employees?

I´ve only been using my Desire phone for personal use so far.

For starters he talked about galaxy s but it seems reasonable that it might be different kinds of android phones so if there is something in general it would be cool and not just a hidden feature for a paticular rom.

I don´t know if it can be done at all though, can it? hope to hear from you and I hope you have some fancy tricks for ghosting and deploying android "images":)

Thanks.

Kind Regards

You could use Nandroid, if you wanted to install custom recoveries on them all :)

Well that was my initial idea, but seen as it is corporate phones, I was unsure if it was a good idea to root them all to get nandroid and do that.

And I get the feeling it was not quite what they were after.
