You can use  Astro or ES File Explorer (on Market)
Visionary is a "apk" file

the file downloaded on first post is a zip file .... need to rename to apk ?

Links on Post #1 give's you apk files not zip files

tks ... it is apk file if download with firefox .. with explorer save it as zip file ...

Well, I am in the same boat.  The is what I have found (but no solution):

• Visionary will not re-root the device - either permement or temporary.  Error message will say that it is already rooted.
  
• Running any root application will fail.  "su" on adb gives 'su: must be suid to work properly'
  
• I can do a temporary root manually using Rage.  Check XDA if you need it.
  
• I have done a Factory Reset both from UI and from HBOOT.  Does not help.

I have Vodafone AU branded phone, so I cannot even install any other ROMs on it.  Any help from the developer/s of Visionary will be great.  I am getting by on manual temaroot, but I really want to get a permaroot if possible.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

Before hard reset my phone I already temp & perm root with r12 visionary but after hard reset my phone I installed r12 visionary to temp root it and a screen saying "rooting your device, please wait". The screen blink a few times and it went back to visionary home screen. I thought that it already temp root it so i try Titanium Backup and it say my phone is not rooted. Can anyone have any solution on this? Nothing happen when I press perm root or unroot now. HELP !!

I am brand new to Android...btw used Visionary+ to root with no problems.

My question is what is the benefit of replacing HBOOT and how do you do it after permarooting with Visionary?

ps. you have to uninstall the old ver and then reboot your phone,
then install ver r13 . I have done it  in this way and it works ok.

Can't get it to work, not even with r13. tried unroot, uninstalled visionary+, rebootet, tried perm root... it said i should temproot, temproot results in a black screen and still isn't rooted then.
Permroot does nothing then, as before.
