Now, what's the best phone I can upgrade to now? I don't mind waiting a few months, but it needs to be good (to beat the Hero, it has to be!) I think we can pretty much rule out the iPhone 4... Guest uk786 Posted October 23, 2010 Report Share Posted October 23, 2010 I'm currently on a hero as well and I'm thinking about getting a Desire HD still waiting for GSMArena's review on it, was thinking about maybe getting the Galaxy S but over at XDA I've read a lot of people complaining about issues with it such as Lag fixing and Samsung pulling the 2.2 firmware. A friend had the galaxy S and I was quite impressed with it, though I prefer the sense UI to the samsung one and have also heard too many negatives about it to have it seriously on the list as my hero replacement. No, I'm not an Apple fanboy and I use a Desire (used a Hero before that), I'm just stating the fact. The battery life is a serious issue with the Desire HD. It has a bigger screen and a higher clocked CPU than the Desire Z, yet the capacity of the battery on the HD is lower than that on the Z. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
