Sorry if this is a noobish question, but what is SWAP and ext3/ext4? I know that ext is a an alternative to FAT, but what advantage does it bring? And what advantage does CPU_FREQ bring?

Swap like a virtual memory.

and ext2 like a FAT32

ext3 like a NTFS

ext4 like a better then NTFS

Not really... :P

In some cases, you can do more damage to the card, with Ext3/4.

The card only has a finite number of writes, and these go quicker with Ext3/4, as it's constantly writing/journaling, and also the card may not be up to the job(not class6, maybe class 2)

if you need use a ext3/4 you must using a Class 6.

for class 2 you must using a etx2.
