I was wondering if anyone with kitchen skills would be willing to mod it to give root access and remove any of the bad stuff (firmware/bootloader upgrades). And maybe add tethering if it's something you can easily do. I was trying myself, but I can't get the ROM to install after. :/ It has a the firmwares and also a "patch" folder. So maybe that's messing things up?
