Hey everyone,

I might just say first that I recently came over here from xda-developers for some updates and love regarding my Acer Liquid, and have been incredibly impressed with the modaco forums and their choc-a-bloc nature.

The Huawei Ideos U8150 is being released in Australia this week:

I think it is time to have a Huawei Ideos U8150 subforum so we can discuss things like root access and custom firmwares? This is going to be an incredibly popular model, but most huawei devices seem to get neglected on the internet, except for modaco, who covers devices like the pulse and pulse mini incredibly well.

We need a section for the experts to inform others how to root or manage our devices!
