Hi Chaps,

I have ordered my Galaxy Tab, and it should arrive today (although I am stuck in Israel until the weekend so it will have to sit there lonely at home until Saturday!) but I have one question which I am hoping those of you who have one can answer:

Does it support Wifi tethering?

Not until rooted and fixed. Out of the box it just supports usb tethering.

My tab supports tethering without root, maybe its a provider issue.

Now I have mine, and it too supports wifi tethering. You can find the wifi AP option in Settings.

the Australian Optus one supports it too.

Yes it do, and there's 2 types.

1 with Mobile AP sharing through Wi-Fi.
1 sharing through USB connection.
