Why the fixation with HTC Sense? With custom launchers, 3rd party apps and FroYo, it's largely obsoleted.

Beacuse i have a HTC Desire and i love HTC Sense - and i'm not alone. I tried 3rd party apps (launcher, widgets...) with stock Froyo - but this more frustrating then usable....
