My Omnia 7 often has a poor signal or no signal when my Dell Streak has a good signal on the same network. Has anyone else noticed this? Could my Omnia 7 be faulty?

Anybody? I am almost considering sending mine back. Love the phone, but it's no use without a signal.

As far as I'm concerned, I get a better signal with the Omnia 7 than with my 3Gs ou Desire... Always in 3G+ against Edge with the others.

Having no problem with Signal Strength, both at home and in London, either 3G or HSDPA, maybe you have a faulty phone?

I have heard/read that there is meant to be a firmware update that brings better network performance - details are here http://wmpoweruser.c...-omnia-8-leaks/

Mine is on Orange, so unless I unlock it I will have to wait for Orange to release an updated firmware I presume
