Hi All

I have an issue with my HD2 that it doesn't always seem to turn the screen of when in call.   It's got a light detector I belive so it should go off when you hold it up to your ear but it seems a random.

It's getting really annoying cutting off calls and such with my ear!

Anyone else have this issue or any ideas how to get round it?

The sensor is a proximity sensor (so not based on light as such).  I understand it can be affected by any screen protector that covers that part of the phone.
The sensor is just to the left of the front "speaker" area (there are two hardly visible sensors that are to the left of the speaker).

I've personally never had a problem with the screen not turning off when expected.
