how to unlock samsung i920 omnia 2 II verizon (usa)?

i've have connected this phone to another operator, but 3g didn't work only cdma. there is no internet connection (((
they say it is because this phone is from the US

you can not use a CDMA phone to work with GSM carrier. sorry to tell you that, but you just wasted your $$$. the only thing you can do is to return it.

I use this phone in CDMA operator not with GSM. It works fine but only voice ((( and there is no internet connection (CDMA2000 1x. EV-DO - usually it's called '3G')

My opertor told me that it was because of verizon firmware. the phone is locked or something like that.
