I've tried Shootme, Picme and Screenshot, but all give me the same outcome.

I get a picture saved to the SD card, but it is a solid black image.

Can anyone help?

You will have to use the android SDK and the JDK ...

It isn't too difficult ... The only advise is if your running 7 or Vista when you run DDMS ... right click on it and run it as administrator
