I don't understand why this would be wanted on the Vega, but maybe I'm missing something (excuse my novicess or stupidity in this case) and someone can fill me in as to why you would want this on the Vega?

By default it doesn't come with it but Paul put it in his update pack. Someone might use it!

I understand that bit, but I was wondering why it might be used on the 10 inch without GPS, or 3G ability.  Doesn't that effectively render the app useless on the vega?

You could use it for music or videos. It will probably see more use when docks arrive and more features come online. If it could wifi tether to a cell phone it would be pretty useful.

Presumably a bluetooth GPS unit would work?
