Does anyone know if the Vega is capable of USB host? It'd be really nice to be able plug in USB keys/storage devices and I kind of envisaged doing that before getting it... (didn't realise that it wasn't configured to do that by default)

Advent felt it would be more useful to just have the USB port as a connection to a computer
Paul will probably need the kernel source code to enable USB host mode, but he's waiting for Advent to release it
hopefully we will be able to switch between the two modes using an application, or it may require rebooting...

It's not clear if it is possible without a hardware mod. The power supply lines may not be connected, thus making it virtually useless as a host even if the software can be changed. Unless you know something different of course
