Make sure your devices is rooted.. if not get SuperOneClickv1.5.5 and use better terminal for the commands you can download it in the market store.

STEP 1

Download:
Clockwork recovery
copy it to the root of your sdcard..( /sdcard/recovery.img )

Download:
flash_image.zip
unzip it and copy it to the root of your sdcard..( /sdcard/flash_image


STEP 2

Run Terminal Emulator (make sure you hold it in portrait position)
type:
su
press "enter"
then type the following to copy the flash_image to data/local
cp /sdcard/flash_image /data/local
press "enter"


STEP 3

Install flash_image
Run Terminal Emulator
type:
su
press "enter"
then type:
chmod 4755 /data/local/flash_image
press "enter"

STEP 4

Run Terminal Emulator
type:
su
press "enter"
then type the following to copy the recovery.img to data/local
cp /sdcard/recovery.img /data/local
press "enter"




Flashing the Clockwork recovery
Run Terminal Emulator
type:
su
press "enter"
then type:
flash_image recovery /data/local/recovery.img
press "enter"



[b]STEP 5 Install the com.modaco.vegarecoveryboot.apk file using any file explorer you will see the reboot icon in menu click on the reboot icon to reboot into recovery hopefully you should see the recovery menu.




[b]STEP 6 Install the latest custom rom and addon pack via custom recovery by coping the zip file to sd card and renaming it to update.zip and flash it goodluck.

Please can someone confirm this works i haven't tested yet but it should work if it does its abit easier method for noobs please report if you see any mistakes and or not working again make sure you have root permishions and use better terminal from the vega tablet with root permishions goodluck.
