Themes for steves 1.5.1, 1.5.0 & 1.4.6 incl batt%, icons, status/notif & window animations

~~~THEY ALSO WORK WITH 1.5.1 (PHEW!!)~~~

Includes icons, colour % battery icon, full status bar, full notifications menu and window animation.

All have been tried and tested! Hope you like them... any feeback would be great, requests are welcome (please state the battery icon style/colour, theme colour/style, preferred icons & which window animation)

You need to be on dj_steves v1.5.1, v1.5.0 or v1.4.6

(it may work with other versions but I have only tested the current 1.4.6, post a request if you have a different build and i will do my best to help :-))

It will not work if you are using themekika!

~~~HOW-TO~~~

***FIRST OF ALL CLEAR DALVIK CACHE VIA ADVANCED OPTIONS IN CLOCKWORKMOD OR STREAKMOD*** (this is necessary for the window animations to work properly)

1. back-up not necessary (all data is preserved and re-flash 1.4.6 restores perfectly)

2. Copy/move .zip to the root of your SD card (no need to re-name)

3. Power off and into recovery (hold volume up/down + power)

4. Option 2 install from sd... wait for clockworkmod to load

5. Select install .zip from SD then pick from SD manually.

6. Reboot once install has completed (may take 2-5 mins)

7. Enjoy

(if you dont like it, simply flash 1.4.6 again, all will be as it was)

After various tests... It seems with each of my themes you can simply flash from one to the other via clockworkmod, i have all of the on my sd and can swap whenever! :-) (please report back if this does not work for you)

NOTE... the next themes have the windows animation incorporated see the you tube link below, flying, bounce, flip and fold (very cool, in brief it basically changes the way your pop up windows move around on your phone)

I'm working on it... The mods I've done so far only involve changing the framework-res file, to change the text colour I will need to pull the services.jar and modify that (way more complex!) Im going to have a go though

Nice work... Is it possible that you can do one wirh white on black and as well a inverted one of this ? Maybe a lime theme will be usefull as well .. A lot of wishes I know... Sorry for this...:)

not sure what you mean? do you man white text on black status bar? we already have back text on a white status bar :-) i can do lime, what battery, icons do you like? do you want one of the windows animations too?

I mean black text on white bar yes and white text on black bar but not only on home desk ... Aswell in the open bar which you post in the shots...

Lime yes as well with animatins and maybe black batt symbol ...its difficult to find the great text color on lime.. But maybe you find some...

an orange theme will be great as well... You have to do something over the weekend :)

Tina - would love to see the awesome theme with light gray text (white may be too harsh over black) with the bounce animation. I know you said you're working on changing text color. Thanks for your work on these!

Hmmm its not the style which I prefer... How is it in orange? Sorry for your time which you have to use or lose ...

And the brown or orange bar under the lime is a strange combination ...

When you can create a orange theme it will be nice ...

Over the last couple of days, I've downloaded every one of the themes you've posted here, and had no problems with any of them. They installed fine, caused no crashes, and just worked. I'll admit, some of the colour schemes aren't to my taste, but I wanted to try them anyway (think I have a fetish for customising my Streak's UI!). In the end I've stuck with Sleek, mainly because I like black/dark grey toolbars. Not going to mention the text colour as that's been said many times already. Besides, I know what the date and time are, I wear a magical device called a watch! And I also know who my provider is, as they send me a lovely e-mail every month telling me what extortionate amount of money they are going to remove from my bank account! I wonder if it's possible to remove the time, date and provider completely...

I like the window animations on the three most recent additions, but, personally, I'm not fussed about them.

Anyway, I'm rambling! Kudos for actually making these themes as I'm far too bone idle and, I dare say, thick to attempt to make any of my own!

Not installed Steel Flip yet, been too busy updating to Steve's Froyo 1.50. And I can confirm that these themes work perfectly with the new ROM, which is nice :)

2. If not, is there a way to get the Flip Window Animation with the Google Gingerbread theme ?

I've looked up a way to load just the window animation which includes download links for each one, not sure about flashing them over installed themes but i cant see why you cant.. worth a shot even if it doesnt work! you can always re-flash 1.5.0 or whichever version you're running if it fails or scrambles :-) let me know how you get on :-)

Love your work man, especially the steel flip, really hope you can work out how to change font color to make it more visible and that will be perfect for me.
