RS232 on the Blade

The start of the nand where SBL etc should be is not readable, it all dumps as FF up until the start of the normal partitions.

At the risk of demonstrating to one of your parent's mother how to consume the ova of fowls :), some types of memory needs to be read in a certain way -- often this is 16-bit or 32-bit word sizes, rather than simple byte access.

Hi

Bricked my orange San fran during gen1 to gen2 Update. Can i use the connector you build for unbrick?

No, this thread is about getting output from the serial port which is mentioned here. That is not a jtag itself, its a designated RS232 port. The JTAG ports would be deeper inside the blade...

Just what i was looking for. My blade is dead thanks to corrupt bootloader, so I cant revive it via USB connection. Please advice on JTAG ports.
