I think i've messed up my phone. I have flashed via odin to 2.2 update XXJPC & now it doesn't recognise my sim or any other sim. The phone is unlocked both network & sim.

The exact fw that was on my phone is PDA i9000XXJF3, Phone i9000 XXJFP3, CSC i9000 RAJE5.

I think i have maybe a flashed a non-uk update but not sure so I flashed the following to try to get back to stock fw PDA i9000xxjf3, PHONE i9000xxjf3,

CSC i9000xajf3. It went back to 2.1 but again no sim recognition.

My CSC is different but I dont know how to get original, is there anyway Or is there a 2.2 update that works in UK.

I was previously on orange.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm starting to s*** myself.

I used ODIN as Kies would not update.

Try flashing a custom rom from XDA via ODIN or clockwork recovery, depending on the rom.

Have you tried a complete wipe, factory reset, clear cache? Might fix the problem also.

CSC shouldn't really matter, they only add provider specific apps and settings. JPC was one of the first leaked 2.2 betas and had quite a few bugs.

Like Billus said: remember to wipe and factory reset BEFORE flashing...

Best thing to do is: wipe, factory reset, and flash XXJPU with Odin and you'll be happier than ever with ur SGS :)
