I kind of back with android  

I've bought my wife an desire HD and every now and again it disconnects itself from the home WiFi network and will only reconnect if I reset the device.

Anyone with similar issues?

Yes i am having similar issues, but only since i updated to the OTA which i did on the 23/24th december, what build are you running? (go into settings>about phone>software) incase you didnt know
