Guest Dado...
Anyone tested ChevronWP7 Unlocker? From the official site: Today we have an exciting breakthrough for the Windows Phone 7 homebrew community – the ability for anyone to unlock a WP7 device without a Marketplace developer account. Unlocking allows the sideloading of experimental applications that would otherwise can’t be published to the Marketplace, such as those which access private or native APIs. more info: http://www.redmondpie.com/unlock-jailbreak-windows-phone-7-omnia-7-with-chevronwp7-how-to-guide/ http://www.chevronwp7.com/ Edited December 26, 2010 by Dado... Guest contable
Anyone tested ChevronWP7 Unlocker? From the official site: more info: http://www.redmondpie.com/unlock-jailbreak-windows-phone-7-omnia-7-with-chevronwp7-how-to-guide/ http://www.chevronwp7.com/ I have tested the unlocker. If you install the cert on your phone (available at xda) and add the registry key to your workstation´s registry it works as described: 1. You can add your own ringtones (after you have converted them to wma format) 2. You can sideload up to 10 apps (this means not from marketplace) if you have a xap installer. I think the unlocker does the same as the MS developer package for 99 bucks. It´s not a real jailbreak as known from the iphone but it´s a first big step forward. Anyway it´s worth to be tested because it´s for free and you can easyly relock the phone if you want. Cheers contable
