Hi guys,

Forgive me if this has been covered iv just spent quite a few hours rooting HTC legend, installing roms that don't work but are not explained the downsides, installed one rom which took 2hours to boot and then locked up phone.

I have finally installed r4-update-modacocustomrom-legend-signed , after reading how good a rom it is and I have to say i have noticed great improvements overall and really like the features in Froyo and on that note like to say thanks to the developers of that rom.

the only downside is I am unable to connect through 3G thus no internet connectivity on my mobile device (HTC legend) unless i use wifi @home.

I have searched forums looking for "no data connectivity", "no 3G", but have not been able to find a solution, have heard things such as "patch radio", "kitchen" but no actually evidence or guides just conjecture.

is there another version I could use that works and supports data communications via 3G.

anyway thanks in advance and hope you have a great New year celebrations :(

regards

Sometimes data config doesn't work out-of-the-box, have you looked the APN configuration? look in "settings\connectivity (I don't know how is called in english xD)\mobile network or config\APN" look up in the internet APN values for your network operator and then create one with those.
