The simplest way can be:
Download Google Search from market, then
copy
/data/app/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox-1.apk
to
/system/app/GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk
and reboot
You can do this via adb or via Root Explorer

great
I've root explorer :-)
So, as regards the problem of not succeeding in installing the metalcamera via malez recovery, can I just copy the metalcamera apk in /system/app/ through root explorer?
thx

I have flash this Boot.img ( or kernel )
http://android.modac...ing-to-help-us/
And it's work ( without app2SD who don't work ) But hardware is great at 883MHz

But the OC kernel will crash WiFi Tethering.
If you need Tethering, just as myself, stay with the original kernel.
Actually, I got Quadrant score around 1000 without flashing OC kernel.

Here is the Quadrant score with original flavor ...
Vache OC kernel did not improve too much , but crashed WiFi Tethering.
I am not saying it is useless.
For sure, you got CPU speed jump from 768 to 883, there must be some improvement in performance.
And thanks for Vache and other Dev's efforts to give us maximum output from our Liquid.

Coz the kernel was not for release, vache made an AOSP version available to the community.

This boot was not made to be posted here, and there will be no support for it.
O/C works but it breaks SD if you have an ext2 partition for app2sd, USB/WiFi tethering and maybe other things.

i've been using this for a few days and I love it (gingerbread edition), it's amazing work.
I only have two small problems:
1. the spinner in the market is messed up weird (doesn't affect anything just looks crazy)
2. every now and then (about every few hours), my phone loses the contacts and all my messages just show phone numbers. about 5 minutes later I'll get a FC from GoogleServicesFramework. They come back sometimes on their own, or if not with a reboot. not sure what it is that's going on...

Super smooth, and I like the animation pkg. X D
One question tho: With headphones plugged in, while picking my ringtone, it still plays out the speaker??? Normal???
EDIT: Works fine with music player
