Guest samjam Posted January 5, 2011 Report Share Posted January 5, 2011 The main problem I have with them is that they become out of date and give bad advice to people - I.E OLED roms on TFT devices Then people end up here. yeah... but when I first came back to modaco (from XDA) I found loads of out-dated posts here with partial conflicting information how to do things. It took a few days to get straight how to upgrade my phone; so I can see why after all his messing about (like mine) he would want to document which steps he actually followed to get success. Of course, as you say, (like the posts here), his will also get out of date - a wiki could help there as it erases the out of date info when it is updated.
