After finding how easy it is to repair your blade using the Hungarian Total phone repair image http://android.modac...vices-to-512mb/ , it annoyed me to find that you had to flash clockwork mod again using fastboot. would it not be simpler to have clockwork mod as the recovery.img in the /image folder.

so this is literally what I have done, and it works.

2d7c6272f70849870c3aa3b44b76b099  cwmod02.zip

http://ul.to/l9cx9i

just downloaded and md5 matches above

Features:

Fixes blue tint on TFT devices
Not rooted
XT9 IME
Dataviz Eval apps removed, specifically DocumentsToGo and RoadSync
Completely unbranded 2.1 Eclair rom
no voicemail number
APN list
ZTE Boot animation
sebastian404's 2.5.1.8 clockwork mod recovery from here http://android.modac...overy-oled-tft/

to flash, extract .zip to /image folder on root of sd card, and with phone off, hold volume up key and power on.

taking a while to upload, and I would recommend to unlock your phone from your network before applying this

edit:

uploaded.to hung on me.

trying again

amazing, as soon as i can i'll try this TPT way to restore my phone.

"as soon as i can" means both "as soon as i'll feel brave enough" and "as soon as my curiosity kills me". Haveing a 512 Ram OSF ties me a lot.

I've tested it twice, worked fine both times.

Sebastian404's stock rom repository is currently off-line.

Which is a pity, because what might be really useful would be to use the Total Transplant installer with stock boot, system and recovery images as a re-virginator ...

Just tried and confirm works. one interesting thing is the clockwork mod is the right way round now, no having to turn phone upside down, wonder why?

Welcome to the forum.
That is Sebastian404's tweaked version of Clockwork. It has its own thread... !

Noobish question: my old nandroid backups will work? i think yes, but i'm a bit confused with all these space relocation and so on.

as long as you have boot.img recovery.img and system.img, it should work from your nandroid back up

If anybody wants 64 MB bigger /data and smaller /system, then use the resize.zip from the partitioning thread. The stock ROM fits perfectly on the smaller /system partition.
