Guest Feras1 Posted January 8, 2011 Report Share Posted January 8, 2011 (edited) i bought used omnia but from the 1st day it dsnt show charging icon it charges but dsnt show that it is charging i have tried many firmwares but problem is there always.if i switch off phone& put on charging then phone turns on so this way i know battery is charging.battery icon is present but only shows remaining charge. Power button also dont show any light.when i switch off phone&plug in charger phone turns on itself showing first red light then blue then green but after that there is no light in power button &charging icon dont show as charging Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Feras1 Posted February 7, 2011 Report Share Posted February 7, 2011 now phone is not charging at all with wall charger but it charges with other charger in which we put the battery i even tried another charger but that dsnt charge too.i installed one night before gps programe and let fone on charging for night but in morning i saw fone was not charged completely drained battery som1 told me to 1st charge with special charger in which we put the battery and when there is some charge in battery then it will charge with wall charger but it dsnt happen . Guys plz help out my omnia only charges with external charger in which we put battery but that charger takes almost 2days to fully charge battery plus i heard that it effects battery life.i gave it for repair to 2 local reapiring shops but they couldnt fix it and samsung service center is far from my city.plz tell if any temporary souton for charging battery so that i use it for sometime till i go to official service center.i read sombody asking if it possible to recharge battery for my case in a way to cover the central charging point in battery i mean there is plus and minus and one in between them that guy who asked had same problem like mine but his question was not answered. If it works through usb, its a easy fix.
