Guest veehexx Posted January 10, 2011 Report Share Posted January 10, 2011 do a backup of your current rom and update it to flb's. see which you prefer and what your device likes more. if you dont like it, restore back. everything is subjective and down to personal preference. alternatively, use the search and read through each roms' threads to see common issues and if they'll affect you... With FLB, I found battery much better than JJ, but even with hardware ui turned on, there was a slight jerk in animations. Well, in most cases you wont even notice it, but it was not as fluid as JapJelly or Fillyjonk. I tried both without overclocking and and with hardware ui. FLB was left idle for 15 mins after installation and restarted afterwards to let the script settle down, as described by Dev. I get that. I leave my phone on standby for about 6 hours while I'm at school (only really using it in the morning for about 15 minutes on tinterwebs) and it ends up at about 75% when I get home. 'Tis a pain, especially since a portable device shouldn't feel like it has to be plugged in all the time! It's good but JJ and FLB are just as good on those fronts and both reconnect the wifi better. I have high hopes for R12 but I think JJ and Flb have the edge over R11. I couldn't choose between Flb and JJ though. I currently use Flb simply because it is still being developed and I like playing with new stuff! Until CM7 comes out, I'll be using this. How could you be using the MCR R11 without a paid accound? :P The MCR topic has at least 5 bugs reproduced by many users, stability is something else for me. Until CM7 comes out, I'll be using this. sorry to disappoint you, but i switched to flb r8a from pauls mcr11 and the touchscreen behavior is much better. with r11 i got zooming action with just 1 finger while scroling, turning while moving through the map instead of zooming, etc... with flb r7(and newer) its much better and more responsive!
