Hi!

I want to what can be the consecuences of the kernel release. This means new ROMs?
I read that Advent is going to release at the end of this month

means many tweaks can be made

1) wifi fix so that it doesn't turn off with sleep
2) ext4 can be used to proper utilise CM7
3) rotation fix (hopefully) so CM roms can work

just off the top of my head

also other tweaks to improve battery life or performance can occur.

no that is down to the hboot not the kernel

Paul tweeted this morning about being out of the office today and having to wait to look at an interesting zipped kernel that had arrived in his in-box. I wonder if it's the Vega kernel? Could be a good weekend :lol:
