Hello This ROM is based on P729VVV1.0.0B04 the dump link provided by chi77w

Why This ROM?

This ROM is based on one of the most recent build of a Android 2.1 ROM which means more bugs have been fixed.

Release 1 01/02/2011

Removed most of Vibo branding and apps.

Default language as English

Used RIL Libaries from de-orangeanated ROM (hope you don't mind sebastian404 ;))

Increased VM Heap to 32m

Kernel from de-orangeanated ROM too.

Reverted to default Android boot-screen.

Release 1.1

FM Radio app fixed

Added International APN List

Fixed updater-script issue!

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18822927/romdump.zip

It should be suitable for Clockwork Mod Recovery.

Future development

As long as I get some feedback on this ROM and if so suggest a fix!

AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I am not responsible if the your device gets bricked!

I've not really look at this yet.. but noticed you replaced the kernel.... is that because the one it came with did not work?

I noticed the OP has it that it was from a V880... interesting if so...

What is OP? ;)

To be quite honest from previous experience with rom dumps. The kernel would never boot.

OP = Original Poster

I found an Ebay auction for this device, they list it as a V880 too.... I'm just surprised that they did a 2.1 build for a V880 device...

I'll shut up and let other people give you some feedback, but I've made a recovery image, and the stock kernel boots on my Blade, and the RIL seems to work fine, to I needed to replace the APN config to get 3g going....

I guess its NOT a v880

Bust still, its nice to see a different boot animation ;) And you have to LOVE a company that bundles a game called 'hottie puzzle' with a device ;)

But, I have a original recovery.img which can be replaced again after installing the official original rom.

So, it should be fine. ;)

Could you please build a full original rom?

thanks. ;)
