So there seems to be a different size for the Recovery part of the NAND filesystem.??. for some of the ZTE Blades.

Thats right, I added a fix to 35 that should of fixed the size for all blades, but there seems to be something more going on with your device..

Is it possible you do the following:

1) install clockworkmod 3.0.0.6 vi recovery manager

2) do a backup of your device

3) upload the recovery.img file to somewhere

4) PM me the link.

Cheers,

S

Install methods tested:

* Recovery installed with Recovery Manager

* Flash Image using Android Terminal Emulator

$ flash_image recovery recovery.img

(with recovery-clockwork-3.0.0.6-blade.img renamed as recovery.img

Both methods give the same debug info in Recovery Manager.

And...

Currently installed Recovery: Unrecognised

(With updated database)

{CyanogenMod-7.0.0-RC1-Blade} installed ok (directly using the installed recovery). And it works as expected.

The backup of the original firmware (unmodified) was also ok, but I have not tried to restore it. Tested ok with "$ md5sum -c nandroid.md5" after copying the backup.

So there seems to be a different size for the Recovery part of the NAND filesystem.??. for some of the ZTE Blades.

This device: Orange SF with OLED screen.

Exact same problem . Unrecognised recovery when i install clockwork through recovery manager but if i install an Ra recovery it recognises it. I also have an oled blade with mtd0: 00480000 00020000 partition and using v0.35b recovery manager. Using Pauls Froyo R12. Have tried installing many times including through fastboot and also tried doing a clean re install of recovery manager but still unrecognising installed recovery. Many thanks for your time Seb and very best regards, Carl.

Update: Works with 2.5.1.8 and 3.0.0.5 but not 3.0.0.6. Cheers Carl.

same problem here...downgrade recoverymanager and clockworkmod doesn´t solve anything for me...

Exact same problem as Carlrg . I've got ZTE BLADE 00480000 00020000 partition and use v0.35b recovery manager. I'm trying to do recovery-clockwork-3.0.0.6-blade.img and recovery-clockwork-3.0.1.4-blade.img from http://android.podtwo.com/recovery/ . but the same problem: Currently installed Recovery: Unrecognised. I tried to update database but the issue still exists.

With recovery-clockwork-3.0.0.5-blade.img it's OK.

Is there any solution with the clockwork latest version regarding this problem?
