i did this guide to reverse tether my phone via usb

but then im stuck at step 4

if i input adb shell netcfg usb0 dhcp on my pc i get the error "action 'dhcp' failed <No such device>"

and if i input netcfg usb0 dhcp on my phone i get "action 'dhcp' failed (permission denied)"

any ideas?

Have you figured out any other solution to reverse tethering? Sometimes WinMo works a lot easier eh

I found this solution, if you have wireless network card on your computer or laptop you can turn it into a wifi hot spot for your android phone to connect to it and use it to connect to the internet. http://www.brighthub...icles/7785.aspx
