Hey Steve, any hope of an updated lockscreen down the road? It seems like such a poor design with Dell (sticking issues), I'm just wondering if it could be tweaked at all? Portrait would also be pretty cool.

Yup, root explorer yourself to /system/lib, copy then paste then rename.

The usual way.

I did the same thing as I typed it so I know it does work.

Check that you have rw on the file system you are trying to modify.

It should say change to RO in the upper left corner if you do.

The new tablet keyboard again has no number keys in landscape mode, and honestly it doesn't look any better that the default one, so I'd recommend not to use it.

I'm wondering if the number keys in landscape mode are missing on the Streak 7 as well...

I went to this link which u had mentioned

dropped them into dropbox..

used root explorer and pasted them in system/lib

restarted...

things like wikipedia work so does GPS....

1.1 > INSTALLATION HOW TO

A. You will need to create a text file on your Streak's MicroSD Card. The file can be created in your Text Editor of choice ( such as Notepad ).

B.This file will be called 'install.txt' - Ensure that this is the exact syntax and that the file is saved with a '.txt' suffix.

C.This file must be saved in the root of the sd card.

E.Inside this text file, you may type each option that you select on a separate line. All the options available to you are listed below. Here is an example :

That is it. You can save this text file as install.cfg

You will then boot into recovery ( StreakMod or Clockwork ) and begin the Zip file installation process as usual.

when i tuned the maximum greater than 1190MHz, it hangs and restart

Also, i hv enabled the 3d treaks, but when i run quadrant, it seems to lock at 37FPS but not 45FPS

Fixed by using fard's version of lower case files already on my sdcard from previous fix on 1.7.0. Deleted the ......GL.so version and all working after a reboot. :)

So far no big issues.

I did have my phone lock up when I tried 1.5 in setcpu. I must of pulled the battery 30 times before I was able to boot far enough to get back into setcpu to change back to 1190 without it locking up again. (Note to self, disable set on boot before playing around in setcpu. Also remember to do nandroid backup too, next time I might not be able to fix things)

Flashed the update. I love how all my apps, settings, basically everything as is.

still have the wifi/3g issue. I can deal with that.

also have the OS set to silent when I reboot. Still no biggie.

My quadrant score is up over 1500 no perfmod or setcpu extras. Just the regular update's tweeks.

but i can't install it again, it said free up some space and try again. but i hv 1gb internal storage and 9 gb external storage. i can still install other apps too.

That's right, Linux is case sensitive so if a program is looking for ther libskiaGL.so and only libskiagl.so is in the files system then it won't find the file it is looking for.

Not like Windows that doesn't differentiate between files named with different cases.

I have not been able to install 1.8.0

I made a single change to my install.txt from 1.7.0 to add tabletphone

When I installed 1.8.0 it gets locked on the Dell Splash screen and is locked. I left it from leaving home at 7:05 till I got to work at 8:15 and it was still locked so tried a fac reset and that didn't work so reverted to 1.7.0

Any ideas guys?
