Unfortunately, she's still too young to understand how a mouse and keyboard interacts with the screen properly, but on the laptop she will happily point to what she wants on the screen. So that's one of the reasons I bought the Vega, to see if she could get used to computing if you took the mouse and keyboard out of the picture and she could tap directly on the screen.
Wow, I was right! She picked it up almost immediately and now she happily uses my Vega daily, she has several games on there that she loves (her favorite is Zoodles: Kid Mode) but she also happily navigates the CBeebies websites and plays flash games/watches flash videos (which is one of the main reasons I didn't want an iPad).
So now the only problem is... Getting it back off her so I can use it

Not sure if this qualifies as an "unusual" use? But I'm not sure how many people would let their young children attack their tablets For me it's important she learns and has an understanding of computers from a young age, so I'm very happy
