[APP REQUEST] Modified stock Music Player

I LOVE the stock music app. Pretty much unparalleled in smooth scrolling, layout, ui etc. However, I just wish it supported more codecs (mainly - FLAC) I am no dev myself, and so have no idea on how to go about doing this.

All im asking for really is some one with the knowledge to rip apart the music.apk, and add FLAC encoding, because if they did, it would best every other FLAC player that I have tried.

The music player knows nothing about codecs, they are all compiled into the core of android via stagefright/opencore. I believe Cyanogenmod already has flac support added to the platform.
