I have recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.8 it is cae9935b88359dc96859d39f20d8a821, but all rom have difrent MD5 so i don't know what recovery i need to use, or i need new recovery? Guest jurrasstoil Posted March 15, 2011 Report Share Posted March 15, 2011 MD5 is a checksum. It just verifies that a file is still identical to the original. For example: the programer used a program to generate a MD5 checksum for his rom file, uploads it and then you download the file and check the MD5 sum of the file you downloaded. If the file you downloaded has a different MD5 checksum than the one the programer generated, then the file you downloaded was corrupted at some point.
