Update as well: IT FREAKING WORKS!!! ANDROID 2.2 on OMNIA!!!! Tips: 1. wait 1 week, the guy is working on an updated version with WIFI and it is suppose to run much faster 2. Get a super lite ROM and disable everything on winmo!! 3. Keep android light, don't go loading it up with junk, it gets slow very quickly. Thank you h5n1!! If you have tried this, please answer, I would be gratful ! - What Omnia (lite) rom are you using to test this ? - What is the battery life while running android 2.2 (how long before a fully charged phone battery is dead ?) - Can you make phonecalls with it and receive phone calls ? - Can you access the internet using wifi ? - Can you access the internet using cellular data (3g,...) - Can you use the android marked (for say installing angry birds lite) - What is the sound quality like ? - What other functions have you found to be working or not working at all ? I see on the forum that they are working on a workaround to try and get Android 2.2 on the internal memory (not my storage or SD). Guest free2live Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 when i run haret.exe, i got an error like this (attachment) anyone can help me?? hi. i was getting the same error when i tried to run the haret.exe from"my storage" and i also got the same mistake when i had less then 50% battery( i'm using spb mobile shell). try running the haret.exe from a 1gb memory card . the android looks good but you have to be patient as it's not so fast. the battery runs out pretty fast : aprox 3 hours.
